Home Assistant show/reveal/access the .storage folder in the File Editor

By default the .storage folder is hidden in the File Editor, but it can be revealed

Steps to reveal the .storage folder in the File Editor

Go to settings
go to Add-ons
select File editor
all the way on top of the page, click “Configuration”
click the little “X” next to .storage, to remove it
save the option

and restart the add-on (it will prompt you)

thats it! your .storage will now show up in your file editor! (but be carefull!)
